Latitude Energy Services

Latitude Energy Services, LLC (“LES”) provides the latest in water treatment and/or remediation services to the oil and gas industry. Our proprietary Electro Precipitation™ treatment process is the solution of choice for most of the water remediation issues facing the energy industry today.
Latitude Energy Services (“LES”) provides water remediation services to the Oil, Gas and Energy industries worldwide utilizing innovative and patented technologies developed by its strategic partner Latitude Solutions, Inc. (“LSI”) and various LSI subsidiary companies. LES will manufacture, market and operate remediation/processing units.
LES services clients in all aspects of the Oil, Gas and Energy Industries including but not limited to the Oil & Gas Drilling and Production Operations, Refining and associated Processing Operations, Synthetic Crude Production Operations and associated Tailing or Storage Sites, Pipeline and Distribution Operations and other associated operations. LES will adhere to the mandated Training, HES Requirements, Certifications, and any other reasonable business or operations process requirements of its clients and will strictly adhere to any demands of confidentiality demanded thereby.
LES will undertake water remediation operations worldwide but reserves the right to refuse to conduct operations in areas that it considers unsafe or where the protection of its proprietary technology cannot be assured. It is anticipated that the company will establish regional operational bases in appropriate locations throughout North America and internationally as demand dictates as long as the level of service and operational effectiveness of the technology can be assured.
LES maintains sufficient trained operational staff to operate and maintain its Processing Units to ensure the provision of quality service to its clients at all times. Operational staff are recruited from within the oil, gas and associated energy industries and will receive specific training in the application of LES technology in specific applications. In addition, LES will from time to time update its service offerings and quality of service as LSI and its subsidiaries develop new and more effective technology.
The oil and gas industry is under extreme pressure to minimize the impact
it is having on water resources in its areas of operation
Usage – The energy industry is one of the most prolific users of water annually in the United States
Fresh water supplies are under extreme pressure in certain geographic areas and the industry’s access to them is now or soon will be limited
If existing wastewater streams including produced water, frac flowback water, etc could be used to reduce new water consumption needs, access to new and greater new supplies could be minimized
Environmental Impact – the energy industry is viewed as a potential source of environmental degradation
Most oil and gas waste water and many of the solids it contains are considered hazardous by the EPA without treatment
Discharge of waste water is now strictly controlled in all states and the quality requirements for discharge are very high
Injection of waste water deep disposal wells is now strictly controlled in many areas or eliminated completely in others
Regulatory Environment – the energy industry is faced with increasingly stringent regulation in relation to water usage and wastewater treatment
The US Environmental Protection Agency as well as the public is becoming aware of industry use of water and the disposal of wastewater and its potential impact
LES addresses most if not all issues facing the industry relative to its water usage, re-use
and remediation and our EP™ technology can provide the following significant benefits to our clients:
Removal of Total Suspended Solids (TSS) from most makeup, frac flowback or produced water or wastewater streams at greater than 98% efficacy regardless of the salinity of the water and without the addition of any chemical or other additives
Eliminates 100% of all problematic biologicals including bacteria that commonly cause significant down-hole issues for all operators, again regardless of the salinity of the water without the addition of any chemicals or other additives
Removal of Heavy Metals down to non-detect levels
Removal of radioactive isotopes down to non-detect levels
Treatment modules are sized to treat 450 GPM/module with the capability to interconnect multiple modules allowing virtually infinite scalability as to treatment volumes
Energy efficiency and low operating costs allow LES to save operators significant costs compared to other treatment or remediation alternatives
Proven to be more effective in each treatment or remediation application than any other alternative methodology
Installations can be either mobile or fixed
Ancillary benefits including reduction or elimination of water surface tension, biological treatments remain effective for extended periods, etc.
Economic Considerations – LES suggests the following as the primary
economic benefits to utilization of our EP™ technology:
Reduction of overall water treatment and remediation costs due to reducing or eliminating chemical and other treatment/remediation applications
Reduction of footprint dedicated to water treatment/remediation as the LES modules are compact and easily placed on location
Ability to effectively treat high volumes including treatment while engaged in hydraulic fracturing or other operations
The ability of the industry to reuse significant portions of produced or recovered treatment water in future will assist in ensuring the profitability of many of the new shale gas or shale oil plays
Regulatory Environment
The EPA as well as state regulatory agencies and DEQ’s are initiating more stringent regulations relating to water quality and disposal or treatment methodologies on a regular basis.
The public is becoming aware of the use and disposal of wastewater and what it may mean to the environment methodologies on a regular basis.
Can be utilized as a standalone solution or as an integral part and existing treatment operation
Ability to customize each treatment module to produce the needed results and the ability to adapt to changing characteristics of water being treated
